Developing Evidence-Based Creative Interventions
For 2025, this training is approved for 6CEs with SW and Psychology boards. It is PENDING approval for 6 CEs MFT and LPC. We did not apply to ADC.
It can be difficult to use evidence-based models in practice. At times it can feel like all the knowledge goes out the window when a client is sitting in front of you.
This training will help clinicians take their knowledge of evidence-based treatment models such as PracticeWise, TF CBT, AF CBT, etc. and turn those models into expressive interventions using art and play. During the training, clinicians will learn several interventions designed from evidence-based models, how expressive interventions work to integrate and heal the brain, and how to design expressive interventions for use with specific clients.
Classes will be held at Seven Counties Services: 2225 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY
From Chaos to Calm: Effective Strategies for Handling Difficult Behaviors

In this engaging and practical training, child therapist Stuart Perry, LCSW, ASDCS (“Mister Stu”), will walk participants through the brain science behind behavior and share real-world tools to shift chaos into calm.
Perfect for childcare providers, early educators, and anyone working with young children.
